Karen M Boville M.Ed RP (Qualifying)
Life can look “fine” on the outside while inside you feel anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, or disconnected from yourself. You may find yourself overthinking, trying to keep the peace, shutting down, or repeating the same patterns in relationships, even when part of you wants things to feel different.
Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand these patterns more deeply, and begin responding in ways that feel calmer, clearer, and more aligned with who you are.
My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and grounded in nervous system awareness. Together, we work to understand what’s underneath your reactions with curiosity and compassion, not judgment or pressure. Sessions are paced to feel manageable and tailored to your unique needs and experiences.
I integrate approaches including EMDR, somatic (body-based) therapy, attachment work, CBT, EFT, and parts work to support meaningful and lasting change.
Karen is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) offering virtual therapy across Ontario and in-person therapy in Manotick. She works with adults, teens, and couples.
